Resumen : | In the published version of the manuscript, some of the values in Table 2 did not match the headings: 1) In the Table 2 heading, units of the 2nd order reaction rate constant, [Formula presented], were indicated to be m/s. However, the values of [Formula presented] provided in the Table were in units of L/(s m²).2) In the Table 2 heading, units of the reactive flux, [Formula presented], were indicated to be m/s. However, the values of [Formula presented] provided in the Table were in units of L/min (i.e. were not normalized by the membrane surface area).3) Values of [Formula presented] for the 5 layer LBL membrane need to be corrected:– Test #1: (8.90±2.10)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²) should be changed to (9.65±1.76)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²). After units conversions, the correct value is (11.61±2.12) 10⁻⁶ m/s.– Test #2: (8.66±0.27)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²) should be changed to (8.65±0.28)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²). After units conversions, the correct value is (10.41±0.34) 10⁻⁶ m/s.– Test #3: (6.74±0.27)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²) should be changed to (6.79±0.37)·10⁻⁴ L/(s m²). After units conversions, the correct value is (8.17±0.45) 10⁻⁶ m/s.The revised Table 2 with correct values of [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] in units of m/s is attached below. In addition, the last sentence on page 345 of the published manuscript contained a typo, wherein [Formula presented] was assigned the value of 8.0·10⁻⁶±1.5·10⁻⁶ m/s instead of the correct value of 7.9·10⁻⁶±0.8·10⁻⁶ m/s. (Note that Table 2 in the published manuscript contains the correct value). Thus, the sentence should read as follows: “The normalized 1st order reaction rate constants are (7.9±0.8)·10⁻⁶ m/s and (6.0±0.0)·10⁻⁶ m/s for P25 and PECVD-generated catalysts, respectively.” The authors would like to apologize for these errors. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.memsci.2016.04.050. |
